Bible/Βίβλος

The word “bible” derives from the Hellenistic Greek word “biblion” (Greek βιβλίον) meaning “the book”. The word “biblion” has its origin from the ancient Greek word “biblos/byblos” (Greek βίβλος/βύβλος) and back then had the meaning “papyrus”. Byblos, an ancient Phoenician city, nowadays in Lebanon, was exporting to ancient Greece papyrus, hence the meaning of the word.

  1. Thanks for the suggestions about credit repair on this amazing web-site. Things i would tell people should be to give up the mentality that they may buy right now and pay out later. Being a society we all tend to make this happen for many things. This includes vacation trips, furniture, as well as items we wish. However, you must separate your current wants from the needs. When you are working to improve your credit score actually you need some sacrifices. For example you may shop online to save cash or you can go to second hand merchants instead of high priced department stores regarding clothing.
